Siete Pasos La Lianta is an unoaked, unaged Chardonnay crafted from grapes grown in Navarra in northern Spain. Made to emphasize freshness and fruit, the grapes are mechanically harvested at night and then pressed gently. In order to preserve the beautiful natural flavors and primary aromas of the fruit, the eight day fermentation uses only the free run juice and occurs at low temperature (15 degrees celcius). The wine is aged for two more months on lees and is racked, stabilized and bottled young. The result is a fresh and crisp rendition of Chardonnay with hints of tropical fruit, apples and peaches.
